Facet Silver T-bar Necklace

Connect yourself to nature with this silver faceted t-bar pendant necklace, a modern twist on a classic. Inspired by the Scottish folktale of Beira, who was said to have formed mountains with her magic hammer so that she may wander among them.

This edgy design is based upon the angular forms of mountains as they rise from the land — imitating the story of Beira who hits her hammer on the ground to turn the dirt into iron and force the mountains to rise. The shape is reflected as a mountain would be in a loch.

Crafted by hand in wax, this form is re-created to be cast in recycled sterling silver. Using the lost wax method, an ancient art in itself. Hand assembled to create a balanced pendant which threads onto a figaro chain. Hand polished to a bright shine.
